About Us
Gaucho is a term commonly used to describe residents of the South American Pampas, Chacos or Patagonian grassland, found in parts of Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Southern Chile.
During the 19th Century, the Gauchos made up the majority of the rural pampas population, herding cattle and practicing agriculture. Like the North American cowboy, Gauchos are generally reputed to be great horsemen, strong and honest. Gauchos used “boleadoras” (three leather bound rocks tied together with approximately three feet long leather straps), a “poncho”, a whip called “rebenque”, a large knife called “facón”, and loose-fitting trousers called bombachas, belted with a chiripá.
The South American Cuisine has a large infuence of the European Cuisine, although every country adds their own seasonings.
We highly recommend you to try our most popular “CHIMICHURRI” sauce with all your meats, for an unforgettable experience. Consuming raw or under cooked meat, poultry, eggs, or seafood may cause food borne illness. |
